Our Primary Care Staff Training Program ensures your staff is using the best possible tactics for all administrative and operational processes for your office, addressing some of the most common challenges including billing and error reconciliation. We train your staff on best practices for MOH billing, MOH reports, workflow opportunities, EMR capabilities, error reconciliation, and more.

We lead training sessions with the clinic managers and administrative staff to evaluate opportunities to improve practice efficiency, priority areas that can be systematized,and how new training of systems and workflows will impact desired behaviors. These sessions enable staff to understand and align with your desired operational process approach, as well as serve as an outlet for cross-pollination of ideas and sharing of best practices. We tailor the time commitment, the number of training sessions, and content areas to suit your practice’s needs.

During each training session, your team will work through the modules together and spend time applying key learnings from each module to their actual day-to-day work. After the sessions, we will synthesize the key learnings and recommend priority considerations moving forward on the correct systems and professional development plans for growth. At the completion of the training, each participant will take a practical exam to demonstrate their new skills and knowledge.

Training programs leveraging the Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG).

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides direct financial support to individual employers or employer consortia who wish to purchase training for their employees. It is available to small, medium and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees. The government covers 83% of costs per existing employee and 100% for new employees. Employers can receive up to $10,000 in government support per person for training costs. If you’re an employer with a particular skills demand, the Canada-Ontario Job Grant might be right for you. DoctorCare works with practices to leverage the COJG to apply to medical staff training programs.
